Dying Dance 02:28
We’re alive in this dying world. We speak with ashes in our mouth. All we are not now. We are strangers in our native land. We hold the fire, we hold the fire. Dance with me on top of broken glass. Dance with me to feel your body smash. We are the ones in control. Dance with me to let yourself go. You take more, more than you need. We give you nothing, it’s all we have. Everything that you could be. Put your trust in paper and live to die. I don’t know much, but I know I’m alive.

I’ve been thinking of all the things he said. His thoughts are wandering all in my head. They’re superficial, pretending to be woke. My brain has got a different kind of folk. Swiping through dating apps, but I don’t like Brittany Spears. Capitalist white gays are filling my head with tears. Vulnerable men see through everything. No more goddamn vision for white imagination. No fucking conversation for imprisoned indoctrination. No giving tax exemptions to rainbow facing corporations. I’ve been breathing to the beat of Kerouac. I’ve been thinking ‘bout the stupid shit you said. They’re breathing for you while they advertise your culture. Pretending to believe in some classy Mexican resort vacation. I’ve been thinking of all the things he said. But he won’t text me back, which makes me feel dead. You lead me to some hipster bar. We went home and we made love. You said you hate that music like a traffic jam. I said you can’t get lucky in some punk rock music band stand, man. There’s a pool party in the USA. There’s a gay pool party in the USA. In the Roman Empire States there’s a gay, hippie, punk, pool party!

I feel your love. I feel your pain. I feel everything. I’ve got time to free what’s on my mind. Death comes quick. You’ll feel it when you’re sick. Stars align to set free all the blind. World abides to conquer all the rich. Take your time, set free what’s on your chest. A devil’s work will take you there in time. You’re sick, you’ll quit, whatever you suggest. Life in rhyme, let loose and fuck the rest. Everybody’s got me holding out. Somewhere, someplace, sometime, in someone’s basement. Gotta get myself up off the ground. Take these goddamn vines out of the basement. Stuck in line, the glass is in the sky. Back and forth, a prisoner of time. Aliens, descending on the dead. Skeletons, that’s all that’s really left. Brazened lies won’t die till trees align. They’ll squeeze you tight and kill you ‘till you’re sick. But give you life until the sun takes rise. You’re gone, you’re done, the world maintains its bliss.

Magic House 04:03
Momma grabs the check as she goes to the grocery store to get some milk. Momma got a ring on her nose, she ain’t got no time to pay for hospital bills. Sister got the room on the floor of a castle window, she’s waitin’ there. Momma gets the photo from her room, she says she gotta black cat, then she looks in the mirror. I’ve got a way to win this argument, win this argument all night long. Brother leaves his tarot cards with the old maid’s daughter at the back of the house. She leaves them in the kitchen drawer. Well, this blue house has never felt so haunted before. They’ve got no reason to kill. They’re only threat is themselves. Like poison needles, religious evil, they’re only waiting to kill.

Capital Lie 01:49
Capital break is the capital sin is the capital lie. Getting mad is the beginning of love. It’s the way that you try. Take it back to the garden of sin to a place glorified. Capital break is the capital sin is the capital lie. Getting drunk when you’re stuck at your job where your dreams go to die. Leave your home to the place you began to the place that you hide. Loving deep to the seed of your greed, see what’s buried inside. Capital break is the capital sin is the capital lie. I got it, gonna feel my body, gonna make things worse until you leave me hungry. I’m moving to the desert earth from Denver down to Albuquerq. I’m moving where you meet the Earth. Where a thousand rich guys sell you bones for dirt.
6.
Our chromosomes are perfectly aligned in stupid harmony. Piss into a cosmic sink and become some unintended link. Your nature is so sweet and wild, this concrete jungle I cannot reconcile. Bury worry deep inside until we act surprised when we die. Become somebody else’s dream. It really isn’t as strange as it seems.
7.
Science fiction soap opera, I think I’ve had enough. I’d rather be vagrant, an insect with a cup. Anonymous comedian critiques from the stage. While a selfish politician tries to incite rage. I am the freedom that you’ve always had, the first step on the moon, a strung-out actor getting paid to sit in a room. I’m an open book of secrets, so take me off the shelf. I’ll make you believe you could be somebody else. The extreme non-extremist, a temporary tattoo, a ripple in the water, an open cage at the zoo. The confident hypocrite lied to himself. He tried to contain his lies to everybody else. We’ve got nuclear bombs. We’re going to heat it up. Automatic weapons gonna lift us up. I’m a crazy passion here trying to stoke it up. Place your ears on the sound. Take the beat to the ground.

Leaving 02:41
Deliver my body all covered in blood. Deliver me to the one that I love. I want her to breath in my last breath of air. I want her to hold me even though she don’t care. Oh, darling comfort me as I leave your world. You’re leaving me. You leave me home. Don’t tell me your secrets. I do not care. Don’t give me forgiveness, because I am not scared. I fought in your battles and retold your lies. I’ve betrayed my instincts a thousand times. Oh, darling release me from your merciless world. This is all I leave to you - a pile of flesh and bones.
9.
Every ounce of pity shed graciously. You took a knife, cut off his head, religiously. Now he walks among the dead eternally. This is who you are. His voice is heard in the river wild flowing free. His shadow cast on moonless nights for all to see. His will is done by the hands of you and me. We sleep today and wake tomorrow reluctantly. Drink from the cup from the ancient epiphany. Sacrifice your life to live, your destiny. Lonely in my head. Can’t believe I’m already dead. Gotta find yourself in time. Gotta press pause and rewind.
10.
Gods of Gold 03:07
Improve upon desire. Gods of gold flame the fire. Eat the mold to get higher. Gods of gold improve desire. Battling shadows today. Struggling to find a way. Eagerly waiting to stray. Can’t seem to find words to say. Empty space occupied. Picked the lock before you lied. Test the shocks to say you tried. Picked the lock. It’s occupied. Almost ripe, but over stressed. Under oath and out of breath. Border towns and salty air. Half of what we cannot share. I’m not there.
11.
Captain Von Trapp in his Viennese Cap waiting to rip up the flag with the gnat. I’m going to bed, his family said, to redirect the violence. He’s pale with blue, but what can you do. Sing do-re-mi, and mime lyric adieu. Give us receipt of the countless lives that were lost. Behave the way you were when you were young and just dreaming. I said la ti di, they’re coming for me. Their ivory pills and our daddy’s disease, we settle for powerful ancestors, ignoring the oath of our sold future. Go to hell all you crimson bastards. Take this chance with romance with blood on your hands.
